History of Foster Insurance
Ralph S. Foster, looking for a change and better career than farming, started his insurance and real estate business in 1924. Two sons joined him after WWII and college and the business continued to expand. In the 1970’s Scott W. Foster joined the business and in 1983 he purchased the agency.
In November of 2016, Foster Insurance Agency, Inc was acquired by Charles River Insurance Brokerage, Inc and operates as dba Foster Insurance. Employing 14, Foster Insurance provides Risk Management Services to business, institutions and individuals both locally and nationally.
