Arborist Programs
Arborist Supplemental Form
If there is one thing we have plenty of in New England, it is trees – both wild and cultivated. Trees need maintenance whether they are in our yards, along roadways or in the woods. They are subject to damage from accidents, weather and disease, and need attention from specialists.
The Charles River Arborist Program provides specialized coverages for arborists who perform tree care for residential and business customers. It is not intended for arborists who maintain trees and brush along rights of way for public utilities, railroads or governmental bodies.
The program was designed by people who understand this business and are committed to offering a well-rounded, affordable approach to insurance needs, including local underwriting, claim, audit and loss control services.
Provided at no charge when GL Class 99777 – Tree Pruning, Dusting, Spraying, Repairing, Trimming or Fumigating is used.
Broadens the definition of property damage to include damage done to trees, shrubs and plants, including inadvertently cutting down the wrong tree.
Extends coverage for pollution incidents caused by the proper application of pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers both at and away from your premises, as well as during the storage and handling of these substances.
